“He is pouring out his Holy Spirit anew so that every member of the Church may be formed and sent forth as a joyful missionary disciple, so that the Gospel may be unleashed in southeast Michigan.”

-Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron, “Unleash the Gospel”

Our life of evangelization includes:

  • Assisting in the mission of the St. Paul Evangelization Institute
  • Assisting in the mission of the Archdiocese of Detroit according to Archbishop Allen H. Vigneron’s pastoral letter, Unleash the Gospel
  • Regular evangelization through street ministry, prayer and healing ministry, spiritual and corporal works of mercy

The charisms and gifts of the Holy Spirit are accepted with gratitude and joy for  “the renewal and building up of the Church, according to the words of the Apostle: ‘The manifestation of the Spirit is given to everyone for profit’. These charisms, whether they be the more outstanding or the more simple and widely diffused, are to be received with thanksgiving and consolation for they are perfectly suited to and useful for the needs of the Church.” (Lumen Gentium, no. 12)

Among all devotion to the saints, the Blessed Virgin Mary holds the highest place. As the “Star of Evangelization”, “Mary is recognized as the Mother of the Church and we, full of confidence, have recourse to her so that, through her efficacious help and powerful intercession, the charisms, abundantly bestowed by the Holy Spirit among the faithful, may be received with docility and bear fruit for the life and mission of the Church and for the good of the world.” (Congregration for the Doctrine of the Faith, “Iuvenescit Ecclesia”)
